From AI pilots
to processes that pay off.
Most companies use generative AI somewhere. Few see it in their results. Michael Lewrick helps leadership teams, innovators and managers redesign work around what AI agents can do end to end, with masterclasses, keynotes and in-house programmes in English and German.

Generative AI and agentic AI: the difference
Two terms that are often confused. The difference decides whether AI speeds up single tasks or runs whole processes.

Generative AI since 2023
You ask, it answers. One prompt, one output: text, image or code. A person checks the result and takes the next step.
Value: faster single tasks.
Agentic AI since 2025
- Goal
- Plan
- Act
- Check
- Deliver
It receives a goal, not a prompt. It plans steps, uses tools such as CRM, shop, payment or email, and checks its own results. It works for minutes to hours, alone or in a team of agents.
Value: whole processes run end to end.
Rule of thumb: if a person still has to copy the result into another system, it is not agentic yet.
The GenAI paradox
Generative AI is everywhere, yet rarely shows up in the results. The difference lies in the approach, not in the technology.

Four rules to get from pilots to profit
Formats for every level of the organisation
Every programme is tailored to your industry, your use cases and your level of maturity.
All-hands meetings, leadership summits, sales kick-offs, client conferences. What is happening now, practical examples from your industry and what to do next.
For executive boards and leadership teams: strategic alignment, AI-driven threats and opportunities, governance and risk, where to place bets and how to measure them.
For managers who execute the strategy: AI fundamentals, use-case workshops in their own department, AI-ready culture, managing AI projects and leading the human side of change.
Hands-on formats with the canvases from the book, from the first AI micro-tool to a roadmap for your organisation.
Shared AI literacy: what AI is, how to prompt well, where it helps in daily work and which rules apply to data, security and ethics.

The AI and Innovation toolkit
Participants work with 19 canvases and checklists from the book AI and Innovation. A selection:

Advisory for regulated industries
The Autonomous Enterprise
AI investment is stalling on data that nobody can certify. For life sciences, MedTech, financial services and industry in the DACH region including Liechtenstein, Lewrick & Company builds the foundations that let automation scale safely.
Regulatory context includes the Swiss revFADP, EU GDPR, the EU AI Act, the EU Data Act, GxP and FINMA requirements. Verified with your Legal and Compliance; not legal advice.
Selected in-house programmes
Masterclasses and capability programmes for leadership and innovation teams in life sciences, banking and other industries. In one AI and Innovation Masterclass, 200 participants developed more than 100 AI use cases in an AI ideation sprint.

Questions and answers
What is agentic AI?
Agentic AI describes AI systems that receive a goal instead of a single prompt. They plan the steps, use tools such as CRM, payment or email, check their own results and deliver a finished piece of work. Generative AI answers a question; agentic AI completes a task.
What is the difference between generative AI and agentic AI?
Generative AI produces one output per prompt, and a person takes the next step. Agentic AI works through several steps on its own, often for minutes or hours. A simple test: if a person still has to copy the result into another system, the process is not agentic yet.
Why do so many AI pilots fail to deliver results?
Because they stay horizontal and are measured by usage. About 78 percent of companies use generative AI, but about 80 percent see no significant impact on earnings (McKinsey, 2025). Results come from redesigning core processes and measuring cost and revenue.
What happens in an AI and Innovation Masterclass?
Participants learn the current state of generative and agentic AI, build a first AI micro-tool in under 40 minutes, find and rate use cases with canvases from the book, and leave with a roadmap. Formats range from 1.5 hours to two days.
Can the masterclass be run in-house?
Yes. Most programmes are in-house and tailored to the industry, the use cases and the maturity of the organisation, for example for leadership teams in banking or life sciences.
In which languages?
In English or German.
